Apple Watch Series 9 Specs
Apple Watch Series 9 is powered by a new S9 processor. This CPU has 5.6 billion transistors. That’s 60 percent more than the GPU 8 which had 30 percent faster speed. The Series 9 is equipped with a second generation ultra wideband chip that enhances the precision of location based features such as precise finding. This feature makes sure you don’t lose track of your Apple Watch. Apple Watch Series 9 owners can also control the music on their HomePod by simply tapping.
Apple also improved the display of the watch, which boasts a maximum brightness of 2,000nits. The brightness is now double the previous Watch Series 8’s. Apple Watch Series 9 features a new feature called “double-tap”. The “double-tap” feature allows users to receive phone calls simply by tapping their index and thumb together. This feature is similar to the Apple Vision Pro’s tapping function, and offers greater accessibility for users. Next month, the “double-tap feature” will be available.
Apple Watch Series 9 is likely to debut with watchOS 10, Apple’s latest smartwatch OS. WatchOS 10 is a major overhaul of the OS. It features a widgets stack that can be accessed via the digital crown, and it includes significantly updated versions for the core Apple Watch applications.
Apple Watch Series 9 is available in different aesthetics. Aluminium models are available in pink and starlight. Silver, midnight, or product red. The stainless steel models will come in graphite and gold.
Apple Watch Ultra 2: Specifications
Apple Watch Ultra 2 was also launched. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 features a 3,000nits screen and comes with the new Modular Ultra watchface. The S9 chip is the same as the one we mentioned in the Apple Watch Series 9 article. This one also has the upgraded Ultra Wideband Chip and Double Tap Support.
