MUMBAI:** In this Katha Ankahee episode, Viaan and Katha participate in customary ceremonies at a shrine and make prayers for one another’s wellbeing. In the meantime, Liza doubts Teeji and Maya’s motives by sending Ehsan a picture of them speaking with EarthCon staff.
Under a shawl, Katha and Viaan say a final prayer together before leaving the shrine. They proceed to have a symbolic “drink of love,” with Viaan explaining its meaning as he assists Katha with adjusting her dupatta. Before offering juice to others, Katha describes the beverage as a representation of peace.
In a different plot, Maya enlists Teeji’s assistance as she makes an effort to get information out of a man who was engaged in a previous case. Maya is mostly interested in learning any information that might be harmful. Teeji is dubious, but Maya is adamant about following the lead.
When he runs into a colleague who threatens to divulge his private talk with Maya, Ehsan finds himself in a perilous predicament. The coworker begs Ehsan not to continue involving him out of fear of getting charged.
Vanya returns to Maya’s home and goes in search of Viaan. Vanya answers Maya’s queries about her attendance by saying that she brought a wedding gift from her and her mother. Teeji responds angrily, declaring that Vanya and her mother have already given the family enough gifts. Maya steps in and advises Teeji to focus her efforts on severing the bond between Viaan and Katha.
Eventually, Vanya leaves, and Ehsan arrives. When Maya questions him about his behaviour, he explains that he had to see the man in order to figure out what she was planning. Ehsan’s honesty is questioned by Vanya, which sparks a conversation on faith and reality. Ehsan departs from Vanya, confessing that he must hurry since he has arrangements with Liza.
Maya carries on her investigation, drawing connections between the unexpected inflow of cash and Katha’s most recent encounter with Viaan. As the truth comes to light as a result of her inquiry, Maya is still keen to find out whether Viaan and Katha’s upcoming nuptials would be jeopardised by this information.
