Rick and Morty’ Season 7 Trailer

The seventh season of “Rick and Morty” introduces new voice actors for the show’s fired creator Justin Roiland.

The eagerly awaited seventh season of “Rick and Morty” is set to debut on Adult Swim next month, but viewers may notice a minor alteration.

The new season’s trailer has just been revealed, and while the sci-fi adventures seem to be in line with those from earlier seasons, the eponymous characters seem a little different. This discrepancy results from Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the sitcom who performed the voices for both Rick and Morty, being fired by Adult Swim in January owing to allegations of domestic violence. The Orange County District Attorney’s office later dismissed these accusations, though, in March.

After Roiland left, Adult Swim made it known that it will replace the voices with impersonators. The substitute voices may be heard in the trailer, but their names have not yet been made public.

The president of Adult Swim, Michael Ouweleen, said in a press release that accompanied the clip, “It’s happening. We can all enjoy 10 new episodes that once again set the benchmark for comedy and animation thanks to the talent of the entire show team. This season is evidence that “Rick and Morty’s” creative minds are only getting warmed up.

A typically cryptic season synopsis that made reference to the recasting was released along with the teaser.

“Rick and Morty are back and sounding more like themselves than ever,” it claims. The options are boundless in season seven: what’s going on with Jerry? IS SUMMER BAD? And when will they return to high school? possibly not Let’s find out, though! Compared to last season, there is probably less faeces. ‘Rick and Morty’ turns 100! Until season 10, at the very least.

Season 7 of “Rick and Morty” will debut on Adult Swim on October 15. The trailer is available to view below.
